Les chercheurs du Centre PRISM développent une production scientifique abondante et reconnue internationalement, publiée dans les principales revues spécialisées de leurs disciplines, en économie, psychologie, droit social, santé publique, ainsi que dans des revues généralistes (comme Science, Nature, etc.), témoignant ainsi du rayonnement scientifique du centre. Ces travaux contribuent à l’évaluation rigoureuse des politiques publiques existantes, interrogent l’efficacité et l’optimalité des dispositifs en place, proposent de nouveaux mécanismes d’incitation, d’assurance ou de redistribution, et conçoivent des innovations institutionnelles susceptibles d’améliorer les résultats économiques, sociaux et environnementaux. Leurs recherches portent également sur la mesure du progrès, des inégalités et du bien-être, ainsi que sur les comportements individuels et collectifs qui conditionnent l’efficacité des politiques publiques.
Les chercheurs de ce domaine évaluent l’efficacité des politiques publiques, des programmes sociaux, des systèmes fiscaux et redistributifs, des interventions sur le marché du travail, des politiques de santé, des politiques migratoires, des politiques du logement, des réglementations environnementales.
